I think it is deplorable that there is an added caucus on Saturday because it totally breaks the rules and bylaws of the GOP. I understand the religious beliefs of some and because their Sabbath is Saturday they do not work. However, voting is not work; it is a privilege.
It is just so blatant when the Adelsons contribute another $5 million to a super PAC supporting Newt Gingrich — connect the dots, folks. We own a small business and cannot afford employees, so we have to lose income and close our store the morning of the caucus. Oh, wait, maybe we can get a special caucus, too, along with shift workers and anyone else who has an “excuse” to not meet the rules and regulations already in place. I guess the powerful and the rich are able to change the rules to suit their needs. It is totally unfair to the other candidates.

How is this "unfair" to other candidates? Did someone say that only Gingrich supporters could come to the extra caucus? If anything, it will be an advantage for Romney.
Give me a break! Voting is a "priviledge?" Where did this nut case come from? Republicrats made an error in judgement by scheduling the caucus on a Saturday and have partially rectified the situation and this crackpot objects? He must spend his time looking for ways to whine and carp and cry!

A.J. -- this is what small business owners get from Republicons who coddle the rich and kiss up to big oil

Proof they don't care about the middle guy

Ola - yet another reason not to vote for the Archie Bunker Party of Toothless Biboverallers
Mr. Adelson has paid just about half of Mr. Gingrich's horribly-die-from-lack-of-enthusiasm-and-then-magically-rise-up-from-the-dead campaign so far.
Mr. Adelson paid a cool five million to Gingrich's campaign before South Carolina primaries.
Then, MISSES Adelson paid another five million to Mr. Gingrich's campaign before Florida.
I predict next Mr. and Mrs. Adelson's pet dog writes a check for another five million for campaigning in Nevada.
I can sympathize with the plight of small business owners that have to close because of this. But thank God it's only for a week.
But, in the recently uttered words of the front runner Mr. Willard Mitt Romney...
"I'm not concerned about the very poor."
He is also not concerned about America's economic recovery, choosing instead to invest in Switzerland and the Cayman Islands.
Adelsen pays for anything and everything he wants. He wants a special caucus day? The GOP caves and gives it to him. If anyone can't see that Adelsen is trying to buy the presidency they are blind.
Voting is a civic responsibility, it is not work, and if someone wants to participate they need to weigh their obligations and make a personal decision. The GOP collapses at the feet of the rich far too often, it is noticed......
Another prime example that the current Republican party is run by a committee of oligarchs.
And to the fink. Voting is a right not a privilege. You should be happy that the right wing you support has not been successful in eliminating a poor persons right to vote as you would likely be a victim of that policy.
